Die Botschaft von Japan lädt alle am JET-Programm Interessenten zu einer Informationsveranstaltung am 28. November 2015 ein, bei der drei ehemalige deutsche Teilnehmer zu Wort kommen, die mit dem JET-Programm in Japan gelebt und gearbeitet haben. Alle haben zudem mehrfache und vielfältige Japanerfahrungen und können wirklich von innen heraus einen tiefen Einblick in das Leben und Arbeiten in Japan bieten. Continue reading

Japan Photo Contest

“Share your WOW! Japan photo contest” is a contest of photos taken in Japan.
Share your photos to best fit any one of following themes; “Cool!”, “Delicious!”, “Happy!”, “Beautiful!”, “Funny!”, or “Miracle!”.

Contest runs from
September 1, 2012 to 11.59pm, February 15, 2013 (Japan time)

Winners in each category will be determined by the number of votes (WOWs!) received from other users and also at the discretion of the Japan Tourism Agency.

JET Streams – Call for Articles

Each year in the Spring, CLAIR publishes JET Streams, an annual newsletter for JET alumni. They will be compiling this newsletter again during the next few months and have issued a request for article submissions from chapter members. Article topics are usually about such themes as: life/experiences after JET, memories/reflections of the time as a JET, connections with the Japanese community in one’s home country, etc. They ask to avoid articles advertising one’s current company or books, etc. as they cannot publish these.

If you are interested in writing an article, please notify Scott Borba by e-mail by January 10 and he will give you more details regarding article length and content.
